"But what of passion? I hunger to ask. There's got to be something more than hand-to-mouth survival"

I get confused where I am in my dreams. I dream about Florence and St. Paul. On Friday I dreamt we were in Mexico instead of Galena. I wake up and find myself still in Illinois and surrounded by entirely different people. The whole experience is surreal and something that shouldn't happen outside of fictional situations. People don't really have dreams like the kind that I have.

I just deleted a paragraph. Maybe somethings shouldn't be said?

At least you remember your dreams. I can never remember mine.

But it sucks! On Friday when I had my Mexico dream I was lying on the beach and it was super fun and I woke up and I saw snow out the window and then last night I had a dream that I was home with everyone and I'm not. My dreams are taunting me.

I dreamt last night I was in/playing an old fantasy-style video game RPG, like Shining Force style stuff, except the graphics were clean and it was up in the crowds. I also remember Colin yelling at me about my bad tactics or something. So dreaming about Mexico or Florence is comparatively not strange, I think.

I have stranger dreams than you. You enjoyed your dream. We'll leave it at that.
